What we learned

Introduction :-) 

We are so sad that this term is ending. We learned so much over the 1st term and we are excited to know what sport we are going to play during the 2nd term. We, Briana & Janella, don't LOVE sports. We would usually just sit down and watch TV or surf the internet. But, we also realized that Handball & Ultimate can be fun too! It can boost your enthusiasm since the games are so intense. We had so much fun playing & learning these 2 sports. 


What Briana learned

I learned that ultimate is the sport and frisbee is the object being used to play ultimate. I learned how to pass, catch, throw, block, and play ultimate frisbee. For handball, I learned how catch, throw, dribble and play the sport. It really wasn't easy for me since I hate sports but it was fun. 

What Janella learned

I learned that these 2 sports don't need experience. If you are just willing to learn it, you can achieve it. I constantly reminded myself to be committed and to try hard everyday. I learned that my jumping, catching, passing, throwing, blocking, dribbling & running skills can still enhance. Like Briana, it wasn't easy for me, but I'm happy that from not knowing what a Backhand catch is, I already know how to do it. I feel happy knowing that I learned 2 new sports for a span of just 3 months. Although I'm not a professional, I will still continue playing Handball & Ultimate.
